Happy May Day! I’m spending today with this fiber, kicking off Project Spectrum spinning up some red. I’m taking the red/orange theme to entail challenge, too, and this wool/silk blend is living up to that. :) I’ve never spun this blend before, nor anything with silk in it, truth be told. I was a little worried about it, but I decided to tackle it anyway. As you can see, the silk just runs alongside the wool in this combed top, rather than the two actually being blended together.
